Mason Jar Ice Cream

Equipment

  • Mason jar per kid

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • dash of salt
  • desired toppings

Instructions
 

  • Add heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla to each mason jar and screw the lid on tightly.
  • Have each child shake their own jar, until the cream is thick and sticks to the back of a spoon when dipped into the cream.
  • Add desired toppings, mixing into the cream well.
  • Freeze at least 3 hours, or overnight.
