Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Oil a baking sheet and set aside.
On the stovetop, over low heat, melt butter, then remove from heat and set aside.
Place bananas in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Using an electric hand mixer, beat the bananas until they break down into a paste.
Add honey and butter, then beat for 30 seconds.
Add eggs and vanilla, and beat until eggs are mixed in.
In a smaller mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt, mixing together with a fork.
Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing well with the hand mixer.
Pour chocolate chips into the batter, use a rubber spatula or spoon to mix in by hand.
Pour batter onto the baking sheet and spread out as evenly as possible.
Bake bars for 20 minutes, then remove from oven and allow to cool AT LEAST 10 minutes before cutting them.
Serve and enjoy!
