These Banana Bars are so yummy, and your kiddos will love them!

Another bonus with these is that they’re sugar free!

Who doesn’t love banana treats?! I know I do! And so do my Littles. We eat them ALL THE TIME. But I don’t always feel like the best mom, when I feed them treats loaded with sugar. Sure, they’re homemade, which makes them WAY LESS processed, but they still contain sugar. Because of this, I have come up with this delightful recipe that is SUGAR FREE!

These banana bars are so easy to make. They come together quickly, and taste so delicious! I can never stop at just one, though I should. I love these, because they aren’t super sweet. Just enough to satisfy the pallet.

For an even healthier option, you can substitute half the flour with oats or oat flour. They end up being a little crumbly, but they’re still delicious!

You’ll need:

  • Baking sheet
  • Electric hand-mixer (opt., but helpful)

Ingredients:

  • Ripe bananas
  • Honey
  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • All-purpose flour
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Chocolate chips (I use semi-sweet)

Gather your ingredients and let’s go!

2. Oil a baking sheet and set aside.

3. On the stovetop, over low heat, melt butter, then remove from heat and set aside.

5. Add honey and butter, then beat for 30 seconds.

6. Add eggs and vanilla, and beat until eggs are mixed in.

7. In a smaller mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt, mixing together with a fork.

8. Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing well with the hand mixer.
